Wigley FX prosthetics are made of a high quality platinum silicone and are encapsulated to create melt away edges and a smooth painting surface. 

  This product should be adhered with 99% alcohol, for a long lasting seamless application.  With proper application this product can last up to 12 hours or more.

 

 Care Instructions:  Store in package until needed.  Keep dry until ready to use. Our prosthetics have a silicone flashing to preserve the edges until application time.

 

 

Safety: This product as well as any others should be used responsibly.  Do not place too close to eyes, mouth or nostrils.  The product uses 99% alcohol to adhere it and all precautions should be taken before application.  Be sure you are in a well ventilated area and do not apply product over eye lids, nostrils or mouth. Do not apply in genitals area.  This product is not meant for small children or animals.  For external use only

 

Application Instructions: (Slide show below to help you along)

1. Clean skin thoroughly before application. Use a barrier spray or a light grease less lotion to protect the skin from drying.

2.  Use 99% alcohol and an applicator of your choice.

3. Arrange piece in location you desire.

4. Start in the center of piece.  Lay down a small amount of alcohol on the skin and gently press piece down. (Piece should adhere almost immediately.)

5. Work alcohol to the edge of piece underneath for larger pieces.

6. Reload applicator with small amount of alcohol and with light short strokes melt away edges on top of the piece.  Do not flood piece with to much alcohol. Discard remaining flashing.

7. Allow to dry and use a small amount of translucent powder to the edges with a puff and paint. (Alcohol based makeup or alcohol air brush makeup is recommended)

Removal: You may use 99% alcohol or any other skin safe remover.  Then clean area with soap and water to remove any residue.  Moisturize skin after removal and cleaning.

 

 

Warning: Do not over use alcohol on encapsulated portions of prosthetic. A little goes a long way.

 The encapsulation protects the piece and gives you a usable painting surface.  Use AA pallets to achieve desired results.

Do not put alcohol around eyes, nose or mouth.  If any chemical gets in eyes.  Flush out eyes immediately and seek medical attention.
